Freeze Dried Exchange Terms of Use

What the site is. Freeze Dried Exchange is an educational and community resource for people who freeze-dry food and want to build a business around it. It is not legal, tax, financial, medical or food-safety advice. Rules differ by place and change over time, so check with the right agency or a professional before you rely on anything here. Who can use it. You must be 18 or older. You are responsible for what happens under your account, so keep your password private.

Your account. Give us a real email address. We may suspend or remove an account that breaks these terms or harms other members.

Community rules. Community Chat is public, and signed-out visitors can read it. Your posts show under a member name, not your email. Don't post anything illegal, harassing, misleading or spammy. Don't post passwords, card numbers or other private details. Don't promote products in a way that pretends to be advice. We don't check posts before they appear, and we may remove any post at our discretion. Posts are the opinions of their authors, not ours.

Ask AI. Answers come from an AI model. They can be wrong or out of date. Treat them as a starting point, not as food-safety, legal or business advice, and check anything important against official sources.

Links and listings. Manufacturer, vendor and packaging links are provided for information. A listing is not an endorsement, and some outbound links are tracked to count clicks. Any clearly labeled sponsored placement is paid. We aren't responsible for other websites or for what you buy from them.

Paid plans. Base is $5 per month and Pro is $20 per month. Plans renew automatically each month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time, and you keep access until the end of the month you paid for. We don't give refunds for partial months, but if something went wrong, contact us and we will consider it. Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. We may change prices or plans with advance notice, and a change only applies from your next renewal.

Teams. On a team plan, the person who creates the team is the owner. Team members can see each other's email addresses and shared questions.

Our content and yours. The site's design, writing and code belong to us. You keep ownership of what you post, and you give us permission to display it on the site while your account is active, and afterward for posts that remain visible.

No guarantees. The site is provided "as is." To the extent the law allows, we don't promise it will always be available, error-free or fit for any particular purpose, and we are not liable for losses that come from using it or relying on it.

Changes. We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.

Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
